I graduated from California State University Sacramento in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. While attending Lincoln Law School in Sacramento I worked for the Sacramento Public Defender’s Office handling both adult and juvenile cases. After passing the California bar exam I practiced bankruptcy law in Sacramento appearing both in local and federal courts. As a bankruptcy attorney, I have filed hundreds of chapter 7 cases. Some of the chapter 7 cases I have handled involved large businesses, multiple real estate and complicated back property and income taxes. I have personally appeared at hundreds of creditor's meetings with my clients and successfully completed all of my client's bankruptcies.
As a Deputy District Attorney, I handled a heavy case load of misdemeanor, felony and juvenile cases. I tried numerous cases in front of both juries and judges with a very high conviction rate. Some of the cases that I have tried include DUIs, traffic violations, domestic violence, thefts, assaults and batteries, drug crimes and many other serious felonies.
